ENGR 101 - Engineering, Design, & Society

Course Description

Introduces students to the fields of engineering and design and explores the relationship between engineering, design, technology, and society. Provides a structure for students to explore and understand the role of social justice in engineering while developing foundational skills necessary for student success. Topics include societal impact of technology, the relevance of social justice in the engineering and design profession, ethical decision making, and social mindfulness in design.
