Overrides

Step 1: Verify
Students should first verify that they are in the correct pre-major/major and that they have completed all the prerequisite courses.
Be aware that some courses have multiple CRNs to reserve a number of seats for specific fields of study.
Step 2: Contact
If students meet the requirements in Step 1 they can Request An Override.
Students must Request An Override by contacting their professor teaching the course.
Step 3: Request
- When students request an override, they should send their request through their WWU email and include:
- First and Last Name
- W#
- Course CRN (5-digit number)
- The reason for error (if known).
- Requesting an override does not guarantee approval.
- Responses can take up to two business days. Please plan accordingly.
