Amr Radwan, PhD
Dr. Radwan received the PhD degree in Energy Systems; and the M.Sc. degree in Power Electronics and Power Systems, both from University of Alberta, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2016 and 2012, respectively. He received the B.Sc. degree, with Honour, in Electrical Power Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007.
Dr. Radwan is currently an Assistant Professor at Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA, USA. He has published many journal papers and international conferences in the areas of renewable energy integration, smart active distribution systems, and control of power electronic converters. Dr. Radwan is IEEE Senior Member and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan, Canada. He has more than 5 years of industrial work experience in the design of power and distribution systems, short circuit analysis, arc-flash assessment, protection coordination, and the integration of renewable energy resources.
