PME 372 - Intro to Composites

Course Description:

Polymer and reinforcement systems; material testing; mold design and development; laboratory involvement in reinforced plastics production processes.

Lab & Project:

Students will be completing one lab (groups of 2-3) and one project (groups of 3-4) for this course.  The lab will be to create 2 panels, one using vacuum bagging and one using VARTM.  Once completed students will then need to test both panels for their tensile properties.
